There are more than 250 parks and green spaces here, making it one of the greenest cities in Europe. The peaceful Weston Park is over 10 minutes from our accommodation by foot, ideal for outdoor study sessions or relaxing with friends. Plus, the breathtaking Peak District is right on your doorstep, perfect for hikes, cycling trips, or just clearing your head between deadlines. Need evening plans? Our site is just a six minute walk away from the iconic West Street, home to much of Sheffield’s famous nightlife.
Sheffield’s brilliant transport links mean getting out, about, and around the city is easy. The Supertram stops are a five minute walk away and connect key areas like Meadowhall, both universities and even Rotherham. Heading to your home town? Sheffield is close to the M1, which runs from the top of the UK to the bottom. The train station is also 20 minutes away by foot, getting you to London in around two hours and Leeds in 40 minutes.
The key difference is that studios offer more privacy than apartments. Since your student experience is unique, it’s important to choose a room that suits your lifestyle.
The studios in our Sheffield student accommodation are fully self-contained, giving you your own private space with an en-suite bathroom, a double bed, a study area, and a kitchenette.
If you prefer a mix of privacy and socialising, an apartment might be the perfect fit. You'll still have your own double bed, en-suite, and study area, but you’ll share a fully equipped kitchen and living space with other students - a great way to meet new people!

Choose a 44-week or 51-week contract - whatever works best for you.
You’ll get a confirmation email with a link to complete your onboarding. From there, choose your payment plan, upload your guarantor (if needed), and sign your contract. Your booking is confirmed once your first rent payment is made!

We have plenty of secure bike storage space at all of our residences.
You can book directly with true using our website. In order for the booking to be confirmed, all required documents must be returned including guarantor agreement, tenancy agreement and provision for your rent payments. A booking will only be confirmed by true once the onboarding process is complete and all the necessary documentation has been supplied.
Of course, our properties are open 24/7 and we always have somebody at the Welcome Hub to greet you. Just click the top right hand corner to arrange a viewing at your favourite true property. A guarantor is someone over the age of 25 who takes joint financial responsibility for your tenancy and is liable to pay your rent if you are, for any reason, unable to pay an amount owed to true student. This is standard practice for accommodation, especially for students. You will need to name a guarantor when you make your booking if you select to pay your rent in instalments. This person will need be in full-time employment, a home owner and/or renting accommodation, and sign a guarantor agreement. We will only contact your guarantor if there is a delay in payment or we have concerns over the terms of your tenancy agreement being followed.

No, we do not charge deposits. However, to reserve a room you will need to pay a £150 advanced rent payment. This will be taken of your first months rent.
