I've been in the UK since 2017, and came to live at True Salford this year (2023). Honestly, I'll shout out loud that no other place has been as wonderful as living here. What initially sold this place to me was the 24/7 security, on-site gym, lounges, activities for social butterflies, and quiet areas for the introverts. But as I actually started living here, I found this place meant so much more. With a hectic student-work life, I come back to a team at the reception welcoming me with the brightest smiles. They genuinely care for the residents, and they go out of their way to support us! Thank you lovely team, for making my days better with your care and smiles!

My stay at true Salford has been undeniably the best, I love the events, the staff here as actually the best. The respect, love and security is top tier; I never thought I’d be able to bond and have interaction with staffs ever in my life. I love the fact you get a say in the events they plan out whether it’s inside the accommodation or outside the accommodation and you can plan an event, tell me what other accommodations (public/private) do any of that sort. So if you’re ever looking for a private accommodation. I believe you should apply and never let it go past your mind.

What is the difference between a studio and an apartment at true Salford?

A Studio is your own private space—bedroom, en-suite, study area and a kitchen, all in one stylish setup.

Prefer a more social vibe? Go for an Apartment. You’ll still get your own en-suite and bedroom, but share the kitchen and living area with a few flatmates—perfect for making new mates.

Can I choose my room?

Can I bring pets?

Unfortunately not, however we do have dog therapy workshops for those who miss their pets!

Is there car parking at true Salford?

We have limited car parking spaces at both Salford One and Salford Two. The parking bays on both sites are strictly for those who have reserved and booked a space in advance for the academic year. Please avoid using car parking bays at any time during your stay. The area around the accommodation is monitored by a third party parking management provider to prevent parking in restricted areas. Be advised If your vehicle is parked within the restricted areas you will receive a fixed penalty notice.

How old do I need to be to live at true?

We accept all full time students over the age of 18.

Are any rooms wheelchair accessible?

Yes! We have accessible studios and apartments with wet-room bathrooms. Just select one when booking or contact us for help.

How safe are true properties?

true takes safety seriously. We have a dedicated member of staff or security guard on-site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to give you peace of mind.

Our Electronic door entry systems, intercoms and CCTV ensure that everyone who lives with us benefits from the highest security standards, so the only thing they have to worry about is your studies.

How long are your tenancies?

Choose a 44-week or 51-week contract - whatever works best for you.

What happens after I book my student accommodation?

You’ll get a confirmation email with a link to complete your onboarding. From there, choose your payment plan, upload your guarantor (if needed), and sign your contract. Your booking is confirmed once your first rent payment is made!

Can I cancel my booking for free?

We’d like to reassure you that if life doesn’t quite go to plan, and your circumstances change, we’ve got you covered. You can cancel for free if…
