Check-in day is fast approaching and the team can't wait to welcome you at true Liverpool! We know moving home can be stressful which is why a member of our friendly team will be there to greet you as you arrive and aim to ensure a quick, friendly and smooth check-in experience!

Check in time is from 10am on the day your contract starts. Our team is available 24/7 so don’t worry If you will be arriving late!

General Manager

Hi, I'm Eve – the General Manager hereat true Liverpool. I'm here to make sure the building runs smoothly, to ensure the safety of guests, and to make sure we have an amazing year. I’m Mental health first aid trained, first aid trained, and I'm also a fire marshal.

Assistant Manager

I'm Michelle, Assistant Manager for true Liverpool. I work very closely with Eve to make sure you have everything you need for your stay with us and to ensure your safety so we can have the best year! I'm also a fire marshal.

Hi, I'm Irina. I’m the receptionist here at true. You’ll find me at the welcome hub, I’m here to help with all your enquiries and I can’t wait to meet you all in September. Pre-arival requirements: What do I need to do before I arrive?

Complete onboarding

By this stage you should have already signed your contract and and confirmed your guarantor. This MUST be complete ahead of arrival or this will delay your check-in.

The essential true student+ app will be your go-to for anything true-related. You can meet and chat with your neighbours, quickly sort out maintenance, sign-up to trueLife events, (the list goes on).

Confirm your contents cover

It’s easy to underestimate the value of your possessions, and we're not just talking about your laptop and phone. Items such as your clothes, hairdryers and other smaller gadgets, like Fitbits and watches can all add up. Should something happen to your most important possessions, you'll likely want them replaced - and as soon as possible.

FAQ

Helpful arrival information

What time can I check in?

You can check in from 10am on the day that your contract starts. If you arrive earlier, we will always try to accommodate an earlier check in where possible but this cannot be guaranteed.

Where do I take my belongings?

Try and keep all your belongings together, in sealed boxes or suitcases when you arrive. This helps ensure nothing is lost along the way! Should it be busy when you arrive, you may find there is a short wait in order to check-in. The team will safely store your belongings and provide you with refreshments

What do I need to check-in?

It is useful to have a note of your unique booking reference however, this is not essential. All you need is your Photo ID (e.g. passport or driving license) and proof of student status (e.g. your student card or university email). If you have not received your student card by the time you come to check in, this must be presented to us within 5 days.

Where is the welcome hub?

The welcome hub is where it all happens! If you arrive at the main entrance you will be heading into the welcome hub, and there will be staff on hand to direct you once you stop to unload. We recommend you come and get your key while someone helps unload the car, there will be staff on hand to help with trollies and directions.

How do I get my true key?

On arrival you will be pointed in the direction of Welcome hub, there you will be greeted by a team member. You will be able to collect your key once we have seen a proof of ID. We will then show you to your room and a map will be provided to help you know your way around the building whilst you get used to it! 

Move-in essentials

We have partnered with Unpacked so you can create your own pack of uni essentials. If you choose delivery to your new true student home, the pack you create will be waiting for you in your room when you arrive!
