How easy is it to get to University when living at true Swansea?

Living at true Swansea, you can get to your lectures by car, bus, bike, or on foot - whatever suits your routine.

There’s a bus stop just outside our front gates, with regular services connecting you to the city centre, universities, and surrounding areas. For up-to-date routes and timetables, please check the local bus information.

Cycling is another popular and cost-effective option. Bikes are available to rent on-site through Swansea University’s bike hire scheme. You can choose pay-as-you-go (from as little as 50p for 20 minutes) or opt for an annual membership if you plan to ride more regularly. Full details are available on the Swansea University website.

If you prefer to drive, limited on-site parking is available for an additional weekly charge. Spaces are in high demand, so please make sure to enquire and reserve your spot ahead of arrival, ideally at the time of booking your room with us.

And for those who enjoy a more scenic commute, our riverside location offers beautiful walking routes into the city and beyond—perfect for sunny days and fresh air between lectures.
