The Quays were previously a busy industrial dock, serving ships that came up the Manchester canal. Today, there is so much to do in this area from the Imperial War Museum, Salford Museum & Art Gallery and even open water swimming events during the summer months!

Media City is an international hub for technology, innovation and creativity. It's home to huge brands including the BBC and ITV studios. Salford University also has a campus here for media courses including journalism and TV documentary-making.
