If you are looking for a hearty traditional cooked breakfast, this is the perfect spot for you.

If you are visiting Gershwins for breakfast, you have to try the traditional Welsh breakfast. This intriguing dish comes with bacon, sausage, egg, local cockles, laverbread, mushrooms, black pudding, tinned tomatoes and fried bread, and is a must try –you know what they say, when in Rome!

It’s hard to pick just one dish from this menu, but for something a little different, we absolutely loved the ‘Magic Mushrooms’. Mushrooms and spinach in a cream and brie sauce on sourdough toast – delicious! You can even add pancetta.

4.     Coast Café

Based right in the heart of Swansea Marina, Coast Café is the ideal breakfast spot. Not only does it have stunning views, but a stunning menu too. A newer addition to the menu, we absolutely loved the pancakes! The stack comes with maple syrup, but you can also add bacon– yum!

5.     Crumbs Kitchen

Last, but by no means least, Crumbs Kitchen is nestled in Gwydir Square and offers a completely vegetarian menu. This family-run cafe was born out of a passion for cooking vegan and vegetarian food made from the finest and freshest organic ingredients.
