Since March 2020 life hasn’t been the normal that everyone has been used to, and this includes student life and people’s experiences at university. But as things return to normal and with all restrictions being lifted in July 2021 in England, students can now look at getting more from their university life once again. Many universities have announced that teaching will remain virtual for the 2021/22 academic year, but with accommodation from true student you can still enjoy your university experience.
Is student accommodation worth it?
This question comes up year after year, not just following the Coronavirus pandemic, but in our opinion now more than ever, the answer is YES. Whether you’re debating staying at home and commuting or staying in private rented accommodation, let us tell you why you shouldn’t rule out student accommodation just yet.
With universities being more isolated, either with online teaching, smaller classes, or just fewer social events, student accommodation is the perfect place to meet other students and form lifelong friendships. Staying in student accommodation gives you a sense of community and an entire support system from the people you live with, but the benefits of student accommodation don’t stop there.
In addition to the social side, student accommodation also gives you a whole new level of independence by living away from home and, probably for the first time, being able to do what you want when you want and be completely in control of your life.
We know many people worry about shared bathrooms, but don’t worry, one of the benefits of our student accommodation is that all of the bedrooms are en-suite. For those not fancying shared living and kitchen spaces, we also offer studio rooms. This way you can be comfortable in your living arrangements whilst still being able to enjoy all the facilities and social side that comes with student accommodation.
