What’s your favourite thing about true Newcastle Opto? 

The guests and our team! They really make the place what it is.

You’ve got the Picture House to yourself for two hours – what would you watch? 

Scarface, a classic!

What does your ideal day look like in the Toon? 

Having some great food in one of our many amazing independent restaurants.

If you had your own talk show, who would your first 3 guests be and why? 

Lionel Messi would be amazing to speak with as he's the greatest footballer ever to live! Gal Gadot as she has lived an interesting life from being a soldier in the Israel army to being Miss Israel and a Hollywood superstar. Finally, David Attenborough as he has lived the most amazing life traveling all over the world and seeing some of the most beautiful creatures. His passion for the future of the planet is remarkable.

If you could instantly become an expert in something, what would it be? 


What is your favourite memory of being a student yourself? 

Meeting New people from different backgrounds, learning about cultures and drinking........ lots of drinking! 

You have to wear a T-shirt with one word on it for one year, what word would you choose? 


What’s your dream trueLife event at true Newcastle Opto? 

Great food, great drinks and loads of activities such as carnival games, magicians, caricatures, live music.... just great vibes!

If you could change one thing in the world, what would it be? 

Poverty. I believe there is enough wealth in the world for everyone to live safe and comfortable lives. 

If you had to live one day over again, what day would you choose? 

The birth of my kids, the greatest day of my life.
