Meet Molly: our lovely Manager at true Birmingham! 

Guests that have rebooked for 2021/22 will know her as the friendly face at reception who's always here to help. We caught up with Molly after the craziness of check-in weekend, so that you can get to know her more. Read on for all the goss - from her ideal talk show guests, to her favourite day ever...

What’s your favourite thing about true Birmingham? 

Meeting all of our lovely guests from all over the world and learning about their culture and traditions  

You’ve got the Picture House to yourself for two hours – what would you watch? 

The Office (American one) im obsessed. I think I must have watched the entire series at least 10 times.

What does your ideal day look like in the city? 

A walk along the canal in the sun and stopping along the way at the different bars/pubs for a glass of wine and ending up at Brindley Place.

If you had your own talk show, who would your first 3 guests be and why? 

Steve Carrell because he makes me laugh…Princess Diana I’ve always been so intrigued into the royal family history and what really happened…Donald Trump to try and understand what on earth goes through his head and why???

If you could instantly become an expert in something, what would it be?

IT/Technology … its never straight forward and you always spend hours on the phone with IT team waiting for someone to fix your problem. Wouldn’t it be great if you could do it yourself?! Haha

What is your favourite memory of being a student yourself? 

No matter what night of the week it was it was always acceptable to go out out

You have to wear a T-shirt with one word on it for one year, what word would you choose? 

’Omg’- I think I use that word in most sentences haha

What’s your dream trueLife event at true Birmingham? 

Mini Glastonbury style festival in the summer with lots of live music

If you could change one thing in the world what would it be? 

That there was no such thing as animal cruelty and all animals were treated amazingly!

If you had to live one day over again, what day would you choose? 

The day we took our dog Harley home as a tiny little puppy and he was the most innocent adorable dog in the world. I miss him being that small 😊
