How to make your student room feel festive
Nothing screams Christmas quite like a Christmas tree! Christmas tree's come in all shapes and sizes, but a smaller one might look more proportionate to the size of your bedroom. You might want to consider getting a fake one rather than a real tree, as they're less likely to shed leaves and do not need to be watered, win-win!
Fairy lights are a must-have to set the mood in your student room and cheer you up on a dark winter evening, after a long day at uni! They're also fairly cheap and you can pick up both battery-operated and plug in's from most home-wear shops. Hang up your lights above your bed, over your shelves, and around your window for the best twinkling results!
Fancy getting creative this Xmas? Paper snowflakes are fairly quick and easy to make and look really effective! Check out this tutorial to guide you through how to make a variety of different paper snowflakes!
